This handcrafted lumbar pillow was created from a rare French silk textile dating to the 1950s. Delicate floral and vine motifs are woven across a rich rose ground, creating a design that feels both elegant and timeless.
A luxurious silk brush fringe was selected as the finishing detail, adding softness, texture, and movement while complementing the palette and character of the original textile.
Only two pillows were created from this textile.
Once this fabric is gone, it cannot be replicated — no additional pillows will be made.
Each pillow is hand-sewn in Liz Saintsing's Charlotte studio using refined construction techniques and carefully selected details designed to honor the beauty and integrity of the original textile.
