Created from a rare French textile dating to the 1940s and sourced during Liz Saintsing’s recent trip to Paris, this decorative lumbar pillow reflects the elegance and romance of mid-century French design.

The luminous golden ground is layered with delicate woven floral motifs and refined striped detailing, creating a textile rich in depth, softness, and quiet sophistication. A French blue silk fringe was carefully selected as the finishing detail, adding movement, texture, and a couture-inspired contrast to the warmth of the original fabric.

Only two pillows were created from this rare vintage textile, making each piece exceptionally limited.

Each pillow is hand-sewn in Liz’s Charlotte studio using refined construction techniques and thoughtfully selected trims chosen to honor the beauty and character of the original cloth.
