About the Artist

Liz graduated with honors from Guilford College with a BFA in Printmaking. During her studies, she spent a semester in Rome, Italy, where she refined her printmaking technique and broadened her artistic perspective. She continued to expand her skills through additional lithography and intaglio coursework at Wake Forest University.

After graduating, Liz moved to the West Coast and launched her own business, sourcing vintage handbags from San Francisco–area antique markets and transforming them into one-of-a-kind repurposed accessories. Over the years, she created and sold more than 1,000 bags, developing a loyal following in Singapore, California, New York City, and Canada.

Nearly a decade later, Liz returned to North Carolina and made Charlotte her home. There, she has been featured in The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte Home & Garden, and Charlotte Magazine. Her commissioned artwork is part of the permanent collection at Charlotte’s Levine Cancer Institute, as well as multiple Mayo Clinic locations nationwide. She also served as a fellow in Charlotte’s Arts & Science Council program.

Most recently, Liz has turned her artistic focus toward fabrics and textiles—pairing unique materials with playful welts, trims, ruffles, and patterns to create distinctive handmade pillows in her Charlotte studio.

All of Liz’s products are handmade, thoughtfully designed, and truly one-of-a-kind.
